Chiayi County, with a farming area of nearly 16000 hectares, is the most important aquaculture base in Taiwan. Chiayi County-tutoring the younger generation of farmers to set up the Chiayi breeding Youth Association, the first young force in the west, was awarded by the county magistrate Weng Zhangliang on June 29. Weng Zhangliang, the county magistrate, encouraged Yangqing to fight for Chiayi's aquatic products and take over Taiwan's future fishing industry.

The Chiayi Culture Youth Fellowship Association was established by Chiayi County-guidance, the Republic of China aquaculture Fisheries Development Association and the Chiayi farming Association. It is composed of a group of like-minded young people under the age of 45. Through the association, they can rally strength, cheer each other and exchange experiences, and break through the production and marketing problems of small farmers in the way of group operations.

As it is the first farming youth organization in western counties and cities, young farmers from nearby Yunlin and Tainan have also heard the news and joined. At present, 46 members and more than 10 have applied to join, and the scale continues to expand. It is hoped that through cross-regional cooperation, we will deepen the development of regional aquaculture industry.
