1. Light regulation

Peacock grass is a male plant, growth, flowering are required sufficient sunlight, sufficient light is also conducive to preventing excessive growth of plants. Avoid direct sunlight in high temperature season and shade around noon to cool down.

2. Temperature control

The temperature can be reduced to 18℃ after pot planting, 15℃ after a few weeks, and 12~14℃ before and after flowering. This temperature is the most ideal for forming good plant shape, but it may be difficult to achieve this condition in actual production. Therefore, in general, as long as it is above 5 ° C, it will not be frozen, and it can grow well between 10 and 30 ° C.

3. Water and fertilizer management

The key to water management is to use a well-drained medium. Although it is important to keep the medium moist, it is necessary to properly dry it before each watering. Of course, the medium cannot be too dry to cause the plant to wither. For those cultivated completely with artificial medium, fertilization can be alternately applied once every 7~10 days. In winter, when the temperature is low, reduce the amount of fertilizer used. If it is common soil as the medium, you can use compound fertilizer in the medium before loading pots mixed as a base fertilizer. When fertility is insufficient, topdressing fertilizer is applied.
