The latest and northernmost litchi in Taiwan is in Hsinchu City! With the Dragon Boat Festival holiday approaching, Hsinchu City-the nine-day litchi festival opened. Mayor Lin Zhijian went to Fenggu litchi sightseeing orchard to pick lychees. He also met tourists from Taipei, Zhuxian and other places to feast on Hsinchu litchi, which tastes special, sweet and sour, and plays Q together. The city government cooperates with six sightseeing orchards to promote sales this year. Apart from experiencing fruit picking, the park can also eat litchi on the spot. This is a "time-limited" hidden version of attractions for many families when they come to Hsinchu.

The production and Development Office of Hsinchu City said that there are six litchi sightseeing orchards guided by the city farmers' association, mainly black leaves, glutinous rice, and Guiwei. Due to the stable climate and less heavy rain this year, the city government and the city farmers' association invited experts to help reduce insect pests. Therefore, the litchi yield this year is 20% higher than that of last year, with a sweet taste and thick pulp as the biggest characteristics. The total planting area is about 15 hectares, and the initial estimate is about 1200 plants, with a yield of about 50, 000 jin.

The production and Development Office of Hsinchu City said that the production period of litchi is short and it is not easy to preserve. People are encouraged to seize the opportunity to come with their families to pick fruit and enjoy the fun of traveling to the countryside with parents and children. Six litchi sightseeing orchards in Hsinchu City have been opened for fruit harvesting. During the promotional period from June 20 to 28, each person who enters the garden will be charged 100 yuan. In addition to being able to eat "litchi to the fullest" while picking, each garden will limited to send 150 "admission experience coupons". With coupons to buy picked litchi, enjoy 50 yuan discount, welcome the public to come and have fun!
