Xinhuai pig is a new pig breed bred from Huai pig and Yorkshire pig. It is a meat and fat breed with the characteristics of strong adaptability, fast growth, high litter yield, tolerance to rough feeding and good hybridization effect. So how to raise Xinhuai pigs? Come and have a look with the editor.

1. Breeding environment

The breeding environment with high dryness and good ventilation should be chosen, and the site of pig house should choose the place with high dryness, good drainage and leeward to the sun. Stay away from downtown, hospitals and sewage treatment plants as far as possible, and prohibit the construction of pig farms in water source reserves, nature reserves and tourist areas. It is necessary to ensure that the pig house has adequate water supply, clean water quality, up to standard, convenient transportation and conducive to epidemic prevention.

2. Feeding method

Can feed raw porridge or tree potential, concentrate daily feeding amount of no more than 1.5 kg, according to different growth stages can be appropriate to increase the amount of feed, control the growth rate. Green feed is generally fed 1-2 times a day, not less than 1.2-2.5 kg a day, starting from the end of conservation of 50 kg, after registering the ear label, starting to feed green feed. At the same time, probiotics such as lactic acid bacteria and yeast in the field can be used in the feed to maintain the micro-ecological balance.

3. Points for attention

In the breeding process should pay attention to several aspects, the first is to observe the spirit, before the amount of feeding heard a sound swarmed in, shouting constantly, indicating hunger, you can feed more feed. If the feed is robbed in a short time, the pig will not nest, and it is still crowded and looking around, then it means that the feed is insufficient and can be fed more. The second is to observe the appetite, after feeding, it is found that there is only a little scrap foam in the trough, and there is no small pile of powder or pellet feed, indicating that the last feeding amount is moderate; if you see leftovers in the feed grains, it means that the last feeding amount is too much or there are signs of disease in the pig, this time it should be reduced and the leftovers will be removed. The third is to observe fecal urine, urine red yellow or with red blood are signs of disease, feces have feed particles, indicating that pigs eat too much, should reduce the amount of feeding. If the feces and urine are paste, light gray and green, then this is a sign of illness. Usually need to do a good job of pig house cleaning, pay attention to cold and heat prevention, keep the feeding trough clean and hygienic.
