The flower of Magnolia is an umbrella-shaped inflorescence surrounded by dozens of funnel-shaped flowers. Each floret is a complete flower with both pistil and stamen. One pistil protrudes in the middle, and six stamens are short and surrounded, so the pollen on the stamen does not easily fall on the stigma of the pistil, resulting in sterile flowering and early fruit drop.

How can we get the seeds of Cymbidium with full grains, strong germinating power and a large number of seeds, which requires artificial pollination. When each floret is in full bloom, the pistil and stamen are mature. Artificial pollination can be done with a dry and soft brush, dipped in the golden pollen on the stamens, gently bounced onto the stigma of the pistil, and pollinated twice in the second three days. The stamens can also be removed with tweezers and the pollen can be directly contacted with the stigma for better pollination. Different varieties of Cymbidium can blossom at the same time, and can also be crossed artificially to cultivate new varieties. As soon as the flowers bloom as the female parent, the stamens are removed with tweezers in time. Then the pollen was dipped from the selected male parent flower for pollination. After pollination, you should put on a paper bag and write down the label. The seed ripening period of Cymbidium is longer, which usually takes 8 to 10 months. The seed coat gradually changes from dark green to red or purplish red, that is, it has matured. There are many flowers and good pollination, and each plant can harvest 70-80 seeds.
