In the cultivation of Hosta, the phenomenon of withered leaves often occurs. Preventive measures:

1. Cultivation environment. Hosta should be planted in a shady and dry environment without direct sunlight. Potted plants should be placed in a place where shade is above 80% in summer. Otherwise, due to direct light, the leaves become thinner and the color of the leaves changes from green to yellow-white; the leaves are yellow and the edges of the leaves are scorched.

(2) Cultivation substrate. Open field planting should be selected when the soil layer is deep, good drainage sandy loam, or mixed with culture soil is good; potted appropriate selection of loose, fertile culture soil. Poor drainage of planting substrate will cause ponding and cause root rot and yellow leaves.

③ Proper watering and fertilization. Hosta should not be watered excessively during its growth period to keep the soil moist. Summer temperature is high, watering should be timely, when the air is dry, it is also necessary to spray water on the leaves, so as to avoid dry burning phenomenon at the tip and edge of the leaves. Spray water once after each fertilization to prevent liquid fertilizer from sticking to branches and leaves.
