With the arrival of hot weather, water-raised plants also need more care from their owners in order to grow into a more luxuriant state. Many people think that it is enough to match the appropriate concentration of the hydroponic nutrient solution bought from the market according to the instructions. In fact, hydroponic flowers have special requirements for oxygen. Because the water (nutrient solution) of hydroponic flowers is at rest, there is less dissolved oxygen, which is disadvantageous to the growth of flowers, so the following measures need to be taken to increase the dissolution of oxygen.

1. Vibrating oxygenation

Fixing the flower plant with one hand and gently shaking the vessel with the other hand for more than 10 times can increase the dissolved oxygen content of the nutrient solution by about 30%.

2. Increase the number of water changes

To change water is to change the water in the bottle with nutrient solution. In general, the water will be changed one time in 5-10 days in spring and autumn. Change the water about 5 days in summer. Change the water once every 10-15 days in winter. Leave the tap water for two hours to half a day, when its temperature is close to room temperature and the chlorine in the water volatilizes clean, then add the bought nutrient solution in proportion to become a nutrient solution that can raise hydroponic plants.

3. Hydrogen peroxide

Add 1% hydrogen peroxide to the nutrient solution.

4. Submersible pump or aeration pump

The mini submersible pump or aeration pump is used to add oxygen to the nutrient solution. Plant roots can get enough oxygen in such an environment to promote the robust growth of flowers. Only by mastering the correct method can plants grow more luxuriantly in a more powerful environment.
