How to promote the rapid rooting of cutting flowers

Spring is the best time to breed flowers. In order to promote the rooting of cuttings, in addition to using growth hormones such as naphthalene acetic acid, those flowers share the following methods to promote early rooting and improve the survival rate when they are cutting and breeding Milan, crape myrtle, wax plum, sweet-scented osmanthus and so on.

1. Treat the cuttings with white sugar solution. The concentration of white sugar solution is 2-5% for herbaceous flowers and 5-10% for woody flowers. Soak the cuttings base 2 cm into the sugar solution of the above concentration for 24 hours, then take it out, rinse the sugar solution adhered to the outside of the cuttings with clean water and then cut.

2. Cuttings were treated with potassium permanganate solution. Soak the cuttings base 2 cm in 0.1-0.5% potassium permanganate solution, remove them after 12-24 hours and cut them immediately.

3. The cuttings were treated with medical vitamin B12. Take vitamin B12 injection and dilute it with 1 times cold boiled water, soak the base of the cuttings into it, take it out after 5 minutes, hang it for a while, wait for the solution to be absorbed, and then cut it.

4. Girdling. During the period of flower growth, the base of the branch was circumferentially peeled, so that a large amount of nutrients accumulated in the ring peeling site, and cutting along the ring peeling place in the dormant period could promote rooting.
