There is a difference between orchid and orchid. the leaves of orchid are long oval, lanceolate or long oval-lanceolate, both sides are smooth and the edges are small serrated, while the leaves of orchids are oblanceolate and the leaf edges are not serrated. The flower of orchid is a head and the flower of an orchid is a raceme. Thus it can be seen that orchids are not bluegrass, and there is still a big difference.

Are the two the same?

Orchid is not bluegrass, although the two are very similar, but there are some differences. Orchid generally refers to onion orchid, ink orchid, spring orchid, cymbidium and so on, and there are many varieties of orchids, as long as the flowers of Orchidaceae are orchids. However, some people will not blossom orchids, included in the bluegrass.

II. Differences

1. The difference between leaves: the leaves of bluegrass are long oval, lanceolate or long elliptic lanceolate, the positive and negative sides of the leaves are very smooth, and the edges of the leaves are small serrated. The leaves of orchids are oblanceolate, they grow in two rows, and the edges of the leaves are relatively smooth.

2. The difference of flowers: the flowers of bluegrass are heads, most of which are arranged at the top of the stem and the ends of branches. The length of inflorescences is about 3-6cm in diameter, and some grow to 10cm. The flowers are white or reddish with a Corolla length of about 5mm. The inflorescence of an orchid is a raceme and its flowers are bilaterally symmetrical.
