What if the lateral leaves of Cymbidium are rotten?
When the lateral leaves of Cymbidium are rotten, stop watering in time and follow the principle of watering as soon as they are dry; when the temperature reaches 27 ℃, it will also cause leaf rot, and the growth temperature should be controlled between 15-25 ℃; planting soil moisture should be kept at about 60% to avoid rotten leaves caused by excessive wetness; fertilization should be based on the principle of frequent application of thin fertilizer, and thin fertilizer should be applied to avoid leaf rot caused by excessive concentration.
1. Rational watering
When many people ask, first of all, we should start with watering. Too much watering will cause stagnant water to cause root rot and the symptoms of lateral leaves to rot. We should follow the principle of watering once a day in spring, twice a day in summer, once every two days in autumn and every seven days in winter to keep the soil surface slightly wet.
2. Avoid lighting
The suitable temperature for the growth of Cymbidium should be between 15 and 25 ℃. When the temperature is above 27 ℃, the root of the plant will rot, so that there are not enough nutrients for the growth of lateral leaves, resulting in yellow and rotten leaves.
3. Control humidity
When maintaining magnolia, it is necessary to ensure that the humidity in the planting soil is maintained at about 60%. When the humidity reaches 65%, it will cause the root of the plant to rot, thus causing the rot of the lateral leaves. 0.1% carbendazim or topiramate can also be sprayed every 10 days until cured.
4. Rational fertilization
The principle of frequent application of thin fertilizer should be followed when fertilizing, so as to avoid excessive concentration of fertilizer, causing mold infection and causing rotting of branches and leaves. Fertilizer should be applied every 10 to 16 days during the growing period. Fertilizer can be applied every 1-2 months during daily maintenance.
