The mulberry flowers are easy to raise and have the characteristics of new shoot flowering, which requires us to prune and fertilize diligently, pruning and shaping each year before and after leaving the room in early spring, with the exception of 2-3 buds at the base and all the upper branches. After pruning, due to the reduction of aboveground consumption, it is necessary to properly control water and fertilizer. In this way, the flowering period will continue to bloom.

Fusang flowers like to be warm and humid, sunny, drought-resistant and cold-resistant. Potted plants are needed in the north, and when the temperature is as low as 14 ℃, it is recommended to move indoors (except those with a closed balcony temperature can be controlled), so that they can keep blooming.

Fusang flowers like water, many flower friends died of lack of water because of ignoring this point (but not because they like water, but also according to the dry and wet condition of the soil). The main fertilizer application is thin fertilizer, which can be applied every 7-10 days. We should pay attention to less fertilizer in the later stage, so as not to sprout autumn shoots. Autumn shoot tissue is young, cold resistance is weak, cold weather will suffer frost damage.

Family potted mulberry should not only prevent the plant from being too big and too high, but also make its branches luxuriant and blossom more. The best solution is to cut short at 5-10 cm of the main trunk of the mulberry, retain 3-4 main branches, retain 2-3 branches of each main branch, and trim the whole plant into bushes, so as to make the plant branches full and luxuriant.

Because every bud germinated in spring can develop into a root branch, allowing it to develop will lead to disordered branch growth, excessive growth and less flowering. Therefore, the diseased weak buds, parallel buds, overlapping buds, medial buds and erect buds should be erased in time, and thick buds, lateral buds and sparse buds should be retained to form a reasonable distribution space.

As a result of helping mulberry flowers to the sun, full light should be given in summer, the lack of light is easy to make the buds fall off, the flowers become smaller and the color is dim. As Fusang tends to have more buds, it needs a lot of water and fertilizer in addition to plenty of sunshine. During the full bloom in summer, depending on the air temperature and the dry and wet condition of the basin soil, water should be watered 1-2 times a day, but it should be dry and wet, dry and thoroughly, so as to prevent rotting roots due to high temperature stagnant water. Watering before 9 o'clock in the morning or after 17:00 is appropriate to minimize the temperature difference between air temperature and water temperature.

In the family, you can put the water in the basin for 2-3 hours before watering the flowers. At noon, water can be sprayed on the leaf surface and around the flowerpot to reduce the leaf temperature and maintain air humidity. The flowers of Fusang are very tender and cannot be sprayed directly to the flowers, otherwise they can easily cause burns. Fertilization should be based on a compound fertilizer with good absorption and quick effect, and 0.2% potassium dihydrogen phosphate can be sprayed on the leaf surface every 7-10 days to make the leaves green and breed more buds.

In summer, we should also pay attention to timely pruning, continue to erase redundant buds, so that each flower branch has a reasonable growth space. Summer and autumn are extremely prone to diseases and insect pests. A mixture of 1000 times of 10% insecticide and 2000 times of 70% methyl topiramate should be sprayed every 10-15 days, which can prevent both diseases and insects.

The phenomenon of bud drop is easy to occur during the summer flowering period of Fusang, which is the performance of plant self-regulation from a physiological point of view. Growers should try their best to create an all-day sunshine, air humidity of about 70%, temperature of 25 ℃-28 ℃ during the day and 15 ℃ at night, so as to reduce the occurrence of bud drop.

Fusang flowers are extremely intolerant to cold, so whether they can survive the winter safely is the key. Generally, when the temperature drops to about 15 ℃, the potted mulberry should be moved indoors, placed in a ventilated and sunny place and receive as much light as possible. Otherwise, the leaves will turn yellow and fall off. However, it should be noted that the temperature should not exceed 20 ℃. Too high temperature will cause branches and leaves to grow, and it is also difficult to survive the winter.

The basin soil in winter should maintain 30% relative humidity and should not be watered in large quantities. There is generally no need to apply fertilizer in winter, only a small amount of liquid fertilizer can be applied at most. In the cold winter, you can cover Fusang with plastic bags and stick a few small holes in the plastic bags so that they can survive the winter safely under warmer conditions.
