How to raise ink orchids in spring
When the temperature rises above 15 ℃ and almost all the flowers of Mulan have withered, you can change the flowerpot for it. When changing, the rotten roots and leaves need to be cut off by the way. After that, properly increase the number of times to water it, and prepare some high-nitrogen and high-potassium flower fertilizer, dilute them with water and apply them every 10-15 days.
1. Pruning and changing pots
Spring is the end of the flowering of ink orchid. When the temperature rises above 15 ℃ and its flowers are almost gone, you can start to change its pots. Choose a moderate purple sand basin or mud basin as the new basin and fill it with some soft plant material. Then take out the plant, cut off the rotten roots and leaves, and plant it into the new plant material.
Second, increase watering
Just after changing the basin, it should be watered once to help its roots combine with the new plant material. Then, the number of watering should be increased appropriately. Because it is growing faster at this time, if there is not enough water, it may lead to the bad phenomenon of dry leaves and slow growth.
Third, increase fertilization
Just a few days after changing the basin, there is no need to apply fertilizer. But when it returns to growth, it should be fertilized with some flower fertilizer to provide it with more nutrients and help it grow. Specifically, it is necessary to prepare some flower fertilizers with high nitrogen and potassium, dilute them with water and apply them every 10-15 days.
