Hualien launches artificial Intelligent Internet (AIoT) to become a Smart City
Huang Nengfu, dean of the School of Electrical Information at National Tsinghua University, was invited to Hualien County on the 27th to give a special lecture on "Agricultural production and Marketing x artificial Intelligence x Internet of things" to share how to improve production efficiency and reduce the time cost of taking care of crops through the "artificial Intelligence Internet of things" (AIoT). Hualien is expected to enter smart agriculture. Xu Zelwei, the county magistrate who attaches great importance to science and technology, attended the meeting, hoping that with the help of (AIoT), it will be widely used in agriculture, transportation, education and other levels in the future, so that Hualien County will move forward into a smart city.
The lecture, sponsored by the Agriculture Department of the county government, attracted more than 50 people from relevant agricultural units and peasant associations to attend. In response to the novel coronavirus epidemic, according to the items announced by the Central epidemic Command Center, people kept a social distance of 1.5m indoors. Plum blossom seats were adopted in the lectures, and epidemic prevention measures were worn with masks throughout the lecture to reduce the risk of infection.
Taking Pingtung Emperor Huolongguo Farm as an example, President Huang Nengfu explained the latest AIoT application technologies, such as Internet of things data collection technology, long-distance low-power wireless transmission technology, artificial intelligence big data analysis technology, artificial intelligence crop identification technology, large farm technology management technology, and so on. The attendees were eager for knowledge and conscientiously absorbed science and technology. Some people have also asked how to apply AIoT to teaching to enhance the concentration of school children, and whether small farmers from poor families are suitable for smart agriculture.
AIoT is the future trend, and how to apply it to the public sector and various industries is a matter that should be considered at present. Hualien's current intelligence network has not yet been connected to artificial intelligence. This course, in addition to the availability of personnel, is believed to be more beneficial to agriculture, tourism, education and other fields. It is hoped that the application of AIoT can be popularized in the future and work towards the direction of a smart city.
