Listen to the sound: tap the flowerpot before watering, if you make a stuffy sound, it means there is still water, but you don't have to water it first. Look at the humidity: stick your finger in the soil and feel whether it is damp or not. If not, you should water it. Feel the weight: feel the weight before and after watering, and you can judge by gently weighing the flowerpot after being familiar with it.

First, listen to the sound

This is a common method used by many florists. If you want to water it, gently tap the flowerpot and listen carefully to the sound it makes. If the sound of the flowerpot is dull, then there is still water in the flowerpot, so you don't have to water it first. But if the sound is very clear, you can replenish the water.

Look at the humidity

Feel the humidity of the soil with your hand before watering, stick your finger into the soil, about 1 to 3 humidity will do. If there is a sense of humidity, or a certain sense of humidity, there is no need to water. On the contrary, if the feeling is dry, it means that the moisture in the soil has evaporated and needs to be watered as soon as possible.

Third, feel the weight

This method is also commonly used, but it is very suitable for experienced flower friends, because the weight of flowerpots is different before and after watering. You can feel its weight after watering, feel it again when it's time to water, get familiar with it after going back and forth a few times, and just weigh the flowerpot before watering.
