The yellow leaves of Magnolia may be caused by too much water, lack of water, excessive fertilization or normal metabolism. If there is too much water, you need to cut off the blackened roots and change the soil. If it is lack of water, you need to reduce watering. If it is too much fertilizer, you need to suspend fertilization, and then use water to wash away the flower fertilizer in the flower soil. If it is normal metabolism, then normal maintenance can be done.

1. Too much water

Reason: if the new leaves turn yellow and the old leaves are dry-pointed, it is likely to be due to excessive watering or failure to drain in time after being caught in the rain, resulting in rotting roots.

Treatment: first check the roots for it, cut off the blackened roots, then replace it with new flower soil, and then reduce the frequency of watering, waiting for it to recover slowly.

2. Lack of moisture

Reason: if the new leaves are normal and the old leaves turn yellow, it may be too little watered.

Treatment: gradually increase the frequency of watering, usually keep the flower soil slightly wet, do not let it dry.

3. Excessive fertilization

Reason: if the tips of its new and old leaves are yellow, then it may be caused by too much fertilization.

Treatment: first suspend fertilization, and then use a lot of water to wash away the excess flower fertilizer in the flower soil. Then put it in a cool place to dry, and then reduce the frequency of fertilization.

4. Normal metabolism

Reason: if the bottom of the old leaf begins to turn yellow and soft, and everything else is normal, it may be caused by its normal metabolism.

Treatment method: no special treatment, normal maintenance in accordance with the usual way of maintenance.
