Cymbidium is an orchid terrestrial plant, because its flowers bloom at the time of the Beginning of Spring's solar terms and the coming Spring Festival, when it is time to bid farewell to the old and welcome the new, so it is also known as Orchid, New year Orchid. But some flower friends of the ink orchid has a bud but does not blossom, what should be done? Let's take a look at it.

Scientific fertilization

In order to promote the flowering of Cymbidium, we need to increase the application of phosphorus and potassium fertilizer and reduce the use of nitrogen fertilizer. Because phosphorus and potassium fertilizer can promote flower bud differentiation and budding, promote flower bud flowering, and too much nitrogen fertilizer will lead to vigorous vegetative growth, thus unable to blossom. Leaflets suggest that foliar spraying or watering potassium dihydrogen phosphate, combined with Ye Hongshi microbial agent orchid special fertilizer, can make the root system of Cymbidium developed, reduce diseases and insect pests, and, most importantly, promote flowering and prolong flowering.

Light

Although orchids are afraid of hot sun exposure, they are more shady, but the long-term lack of light will affect the growth and development of photosynthesis and flowering, so the flowering period of orchids need to increase light appropriately. Under the premise of ensuring that the orchid leaves will not be burned, there should be more sunlight, especially the morning light before 9 am is very beneficial to the growth and flowering of orchids.

Controlled watering

Another important point is to control watering, in its flowering period, if too much watering will lead to vigorous vegetative growth, rapid leaf growth, and there are not enough nutrients for bud growth and development. Therefore, it is necessary to properly control water to inhibit vegetative growth and concentrate nutrients on the bud.
