Cyclamen is cultivated in greenhouse, and the phenomena of poor growth, scattered plant shape and serious diseases and insect pests in potted flower production are often caused by unsuitable environmental conditions (temperature, humidity, light). It is the key to ensure the economic benefits of cyclamen potted flower production.

(1) temperature. Temperature has a great influence on the growth of cyclamen, which determines the stages of dormancy, growth and flowering to a certain extent. Cyclamen can grow normally under the temperature of 12-28 ℃. When the temperature is lower than 12 ℃, it is slow to grow and difficult to bloom. When the temperature is higher than 28 ℃, most cyclamen leaves turn yellow and fall off and enter dormancy.

(2) humidity and ventilation. Cyclamen is dry and not resistant to humidity, and it is easy to cause disease when the air relative humidity is more than 80%, so it is necessary to avoid cyclamen in a high humid environment for a long time. Especially under the condition of high temperature in summer, it is necessary to prevent high humidity. In winter, we should pay attention to strengthening ventilation so as to reduce air humidity, but the ventilation time should not be too long, so as to avoid too low temperature.

(3) light. Strong direct light or too weak light is not conducive to the growth of cyclamen, so in the hot summer, the wet room ceiling should build a shade net, in the winter flowering period to ensure sufficient light, the light is too weak, the plant is scattered, the petiole grows and loses its ornamental value. Cyclamen is a solar neutral plant, flowering has no special requirements for photoperiod, but a long time of light is conducive to the growth and flowering of cyclamen.
