Just bought back in the flower market or a relatively uniform growth of the gentleman orchid, but after getting home, there will not be long leaf crooked phenomenon, the emergence of this problem is mostly caused by you have not changed the orientation of the flowerpot for a long time.

Any plant has phototaxis, of course, including orchids, but orchids are more obvious than other plants, because of the existence of light, so the leaves of orchids will obviously grow toward the light side, and for a long time, the leaves will be distorted toward the light side, thus affecting the ornamental quality of orchids.

If the leaves of Cymbidium have grown askew, then we can follow the following methods and basically become normal plants in half a month.

The first method is to use toilet paper and paper clips to wrap the long crooked leaves and adjacent leaves, and then clamp the two leaves at the same time with a paper clip, so that the long crooked leaves can be artificially intervened into normal leaves after being fixed for half a month.

The second way is to tie the crooked leaves together with the normal leaves with a thread rope, but don't bind the leaves too hard, otherwise it will hurt the leaves, and then often change the orientation of the flowerpot, so that it will become a normal plant in about half a month.

The third method is to use cardboard to prepare a cardboard with a width wider than the leaves of Cymbidium, and then dig out the holes that just allow the leaves to pass through according to the width and distance of the leaves on the cardboard, and then cover the cardboard on the leaves, and you can take it down half a month later.

If it is the gentleman orchid we have just bought, we must remember to change the orientation every 2 days or 1 day, so that the gentleman leaves can have uniform light and grow into a more symmetrical and beautiful shape, so as not to grow into a distorted shape.

No matter which method is used to correct the leaves, it will basically become a normal plant after half a month. After correction, remember to change the orientation of the flowerpot every 2 days, so that the corrected leaves can receive light evenly. Only in this way can we ensure that the orchid has a beautiful plant type.
