? The answer is of course not. Generally speaking, orchids require slightly higher air humidity and slightly lower soil humidity, and it is appropriate to be one-third wet and seven-minute dry.

The amount of water for orchids depends on the season, temperature, air, humidity, ventilation, plant size, dry and wet soil, and so on. The best water for watering orchids is Rain Water or spring water, followed by river water, tap water, but no matter what kind of water, should be quiet for 1-2 days, so that impurities in the water precipitate, foul gas leakage and reuse. Do not use well water and other saline-alkali water, otherwise the basin soil is salinized, which is disadvantageous to the growth of orchids.

Drizzle is suitable for orchid growth, while long rain and torrential rain should be avoided.

Summer noon and thundershowers should be avoided, so the basin temperature is very high, such as being drenched by cold rain, damp and hot air stuffy in the basin, the most easy to rot roots. In spring, the temperature is low, the basin soil should be dry, and the amount of water should be less to prevent the new buds from rotting; the temperature in summer and autumn is higher, the orchid grows vigorously, the evaporation is large, and the amount of water should be increased, and it is appropriate to water it in the morning and evening. During the rainy season, the basin soil should be a little dry, too wet will cause leaf buds to wither and attract diseases.

The amount of water poured after autumn should be reduced.

In winter, the indoor basin soil should be slightly dry, the watering times should be reduced accordingly, it should be watered at noon, it should be poured along the edge of the basin, and should not be drenched on the leaf surface.
