A string of red sex likes to be warm, humid and sunny, and the optimum temperature is 20-25 ℃. Therefore, pot management should pay attention to several links in order to achieve the purpose of rapid cultivation.

1. After controlling the light and temperature, it is necessary to slow down the seedlings after shading for more than 3 days, and then gradually remove the shade to satisfy enough light. In order to control light and temperature more effectively in management, a simple scaffolding can be temporarily set up one meter above the potted flowers.

If the light is too strong or the temperature is too high, it will be covered with 50% shade net for timely shade, especially at noon in summer; once there is a low temperature, it will be properly insulated by agricultural plastic film, usually at night or in rainy weather.

2. After keeping moisture and humidity in potted plants, you should spray water once a day (except on rainy days). When watering, the difference of ground temperature and water temperature should not exceed 5 ℃. Where there are conditions, automatic sprinkler heads can be installed to carry out sprinkler irrigation, which is helpful to reduce air temperature, increase air humidity, clean branches and leaves and improve the efficiency of photosynthesis.

3. The carefully prepared culture soil when potted with extra-root topdressing provides a guarantee for the water, fertilizer and air needed for the growth and development of flowers. In order to accelerate the growth of flowers and shorten the cultivation period, extra-root topdressing is needed.

After a week of pot planting, the first extra-root topdressing can be carried out, and then sprayed every three days. The fertilizer is made of 0.1% urea plus 0.1% potassium dihydrogen phosphate and a small amount of calcium superphosphate. The spraying time is generally early morning and evening, and it is carried out for 12 hours before and after watering. When the weather is windy or the sun is too strong, spraying should be postponed.

4. Stop until about 20 days before the scheduled full bloom. Spraying 30-50PPM gibberellic acid after coring and bud picking combined with extra-root topdressing could promote the growth of lateral branches, produce more lateral branches, increase the number of flowers and produce buds in advance and blossom early. Enter flowering maintenance as soon as possible.

Flowering maintenance: a bunch of red plants can basically reach a good state of luxuriant leaves and neat lateral branches after 25 days of pot management, which can be converted to flowering maintenance accordingly. In addition to the necessary pruning, heart-picking and bud-picking should be stopped during the period.

Watering, fertilizing and loosening the soil should be careful to prevent damage to the flower branches. It is not suitable to carry at will. Remove the shade and give the potted flowers more sunlight, which is conducive to the opening of the buds. The amount of water should be appropriately reduced, and the principle of dry and wet should be grasped, and the extra-root topdressing should be changed to 5 min once every 7 days, mainly 0.1% potassium dihydrogen phosphate, and nitrogen-containing fertilizers such as urea should not be used, and any growth regulators are no longer allowed. During flowering, heavy rain should be prevented from destroying the spikes. Flowering flowers can be reached after 20 days of flowering maintenance.
