The substrate is usually shavings, or you can disinfect it with a mixture of fine sand, rotten leaves or wood chaff, remove and soak, put the matrix into a basket and flatten it. Soak the full-grained seeds in 20-30 ℃ warm water for an hour. Take out one end of the bud and put it in a basin. Cover with 2-3 cm matrix and gently flatten it. After watering to keep the substrate moist, put the basket in a ventilated place.

Substrate for breeding

The substrate is usually shavings, or fine sand, rotten leaves or wood chaff can be used. You also need plastic baskets or breathable tiles.

Take shavings as an example, first disinfect them and remove them and soak them in water. Put the flowers and trees in the basket and flatten them out.

Seed

When selecting seeds, choose the ones with full particles. Follow these steps:

Soak the seeds in 20-30 ℃ lukewarm water for an hour. Take out and put the small eyes down into the basin and arrange them at intervals.

Cover the seeds with 2-3 cm shavings and gently flatten them.

When it is finished, water it, then put the basket in a ventilated place and plant it.

Daily management

Breeding

In breeding, it is appropriate to choose a site with ventilation and moist air. If it is the first time for breeding, the development of seeds should be checked frequently. Wash your hands frequently during the inspection, or check with a clean stick.

Moisturizing

Usually keep the shavings moist, do not need to water every day, too wet seeds will rot, too dry seeds are not easy to germinate.

Heat preservation

The most suitable growth temperature is between 15 and 30 ℃. The northern area is kept above 10 ℃ and below 32 ℃. If the temperature is too low, we can take the method of incandescent lamp heat preservation. In the southern region, we should move to the sunny windowsill at noon to increase the temperature.

Water quality

Do not directly pour tap water, the chlorine in the tap water will affect the seed germination, so the tap water should be kept for a day and then watered.

Sprouting

Usually, it is well maintained and can sprout in about 15 days, some even earlier. Don't look through it all day after sprouting, so as not to hurt the buds that have just grown.

In about 45 days, the germinated seeds will grow longer and longer, the roots will grow downward, and small trouser leaves will grow on both sides of the seeds.
