Pleurotus ostreatus is a kind of mushroom, which is widely distributed in our country. The body of Pleurotus ostreatus is mainly white, because it looks like Ganoderma lucidum, so it is named Pleurotus ostreatus. Pleurotus ostreatus has bright color, fresh meat and rich nutrition, so it has very high edible and medicinal value. So how to cultivate Pleurotus ostreatus? The following editor brings you the cultivation techniques of Pleurotus ostreatus, let's have a look!

1. Preparation of culture materials

Before cultivating Pleurotus ostreatus, we first need to prepare the culture material. First of all, sugar and urea that are soluble in water are put into the water to dissolve. Then mix cottonseed hulls, sawdust and wheat bran together and mix well. Pile it into a trapezoidal pile with a width and height of about 150 cm. Air vents should be built every 40 centimeters or so on the pile, and the aperture should be kept at about 8 centimeters, and pay attention to making two rows of air vents on each side. Then cover the film on the pile for moisturizing, and the lower part of it is about 40 cm without film. When the stack temperature reaches about 70 degrees, start to turn the pile, ferment for a week or so, turn the pile at least 3 times.

2. Bag at the right time

The cultivation method of Pleurotus ostreatus is generally bag-based. Therefore, before bagging, we should also pay attention to the selection of cultivation bags. The cultivation bag should be mainly made of polyethylene or polypropylene and other materials. The thickness is kept at 0.05 cm, and the width and length are controlled at about 16 cm and 35 cm respectively. Then put the fermented culture material into the cultivation bag to transfer water. The water content of the culture material should be kept at about 60% and the PH value should be kept at 7.5. When bagging, first tie one end tightly, and then put the culture material evenly into the bag, each bag weight 1kg.

3. Sterilization and inoculation

For the cultivation bags filled with culture materials, we should do a good job of disinfection and sterilization. The main method of sterilization is high temperature sterilization, which lasts about 3 hours. if atmospheric pressure sterilization is needed, it will take about 15 hours. After sterilization, put the cultivation bag into the inoculation room to cool down. Wait until the temperature of the cultivation bag gradually drops to 30 degrees, then open the bag mouth. Then ensure a sterile environment and connect the bacteria from both ends of the bag. The amount of inoculation should not be too much, and it should be kept at about 1x10 of the culture material.

4. Germ management

After receiving the bacteria, we have to put the bag into the culture room. Stack it on the bedstead, but it should be noted that the disinfection should be done before the culture room is put into the bacterial bag, and the disinfectant can choose carbendazim and so on. Disinfect properly once a week after putting it in a bacterial bag. The temperature in the culture room should be kept at about 25 degrees, and the air humidity should not be less than 70%. The cultivation of Pleurotus ostreatus should be mainly protected from the light, and the fungus should be half and later, and the mycelium will begin to turn after the mycelium grows at both ends of the bag. Generally, after about one month of culture, the hyphae can be covered with the whole bacterial bag.

The above is a brief introduction to the cultivation techniques of Pleurotus ostreatus. That's all for today's introduction. This article is for reference only. I hope it can help you all.
