Grape is a very common fruit and has a very large planting area in China. When planting grapes, before entering winter, in order to ensure that the grapes can survive normally, we must do a good job of burying the cold. Then in the spring of the following year, when conditions are suitable, they should be unearthed in time. So how do we manage the grapes after they've been unearthed? Today, Xiaobian brought you the management of grapes unearthed. Let's have a look together!

1. Exhumation time

First of all, we must understand the time when grapes were unearthed. The main time of excavation depends on the planting area. For example, if planted in the north, then the time of grape excavation is generally around March to April, which is almost the time of Qingming Festival. Usually in the spring of the following year when the average temperature reached 10 degrees or so, they should be unearthed in time for shelves. Unearthed time can not be too early, if too early, easy to lead to grape frost, but also can not be too late. Too late can cause grape buds to germinate in the soil, and then easily break the buds when they are unearthed. It is mainly according to the climate of the planting area and the variety to determine the time of its excavation.

2. Method of excavation

After determining the time of excavation, it was the method of excavation. We must first remove the cold-proof soil from the grapes. We should remove the soil on both sides of the cold-proof soil first. Then peel off the top covering of the vine until the vine is exposed. After removing the cold protection of grapes, the field surface should be trimmed in time. In order to avoid the bud eye being drained, ensure that the bud eye germinates neatly. After the vine is unearthed, it should be placed on the ground for about 3-8 days. Then observe the bud eye on the vine, and when it starts to sprout, it can lead the vine to the shelf.

3, tied to the vine

After the grape plants have been properly re-pruned, we should be ready to tie up the vines. When binding vines, ensure that the vines are evenly distributed on the frame surface. For each main vine, tie it to the frame along its growth direction, and the distance between the branches should not be too large. Then care should be taken to prevent the branches from overlapping each other. When tying vines to the fruiting mother branches, attention should be paid not only to their uniform distribution, but also to the phenomenon of vertical binding. The angle is usually kept around 45 degrees. If the growth is strong, then it can be appropriately horizontal or curved.

4. Proper root cleaning

If the grape seedlings are grafted, they often produce new shoots above the scion. Therefore, we should pay attention to the inspection of the branches when we unearthed the shelves. All main vine bases should be cleaned well, it is best not to let the main vine close to the ground. Prevent rooting, because if scion takes root, it is easy to cause rootstock root death. As a result, grafted seedlings became self-rooted seedlings and their resistance decreased. In addition, in its growth period, but also pay attention to timely root clearing. Finally, we should pay attention to prevent grape bleeding phenomenon, to avoid affecting the growth of grapes.

The above is a brief introduction to the management of grapes after they are unearthed. Today's introduction is here, this article is for reference only, I hope to help everyone oh!
