When raising chickens, the hatching of young chickens is the first step, and it is also an extremely critical step. Modern chickens are hatched on a large scale through the incubator, which greatly improves the work efficiency. There are four points to pay attention to when the chicks hatch. Let's take a look at it with the editor.

1. Preheat the eggs

Eggs weighing more than 40 grams per unit should be selected to ensure the quality of seedlings. Before entering the hatchery to prepare eggs for hatching, the breeding eggs in the air-conditioned egg bank should be moved to 22 ℃ ~ 25 ℃ indoor preheating for 6 hours for 8 hours. In this way, it can not only remove the water vapor on the egg surface, but also avoid the damage of breeding eggs due to the huge temperature difference, reduce the hatching rate, and hatch on the code plate when the temperature of the egg surface is close to the suitable temperature.

2. Control temperature

Temperature is the first condition for the development of chicken embryos. During hatching, the temperature should be controlled steadily to prevent the temperature from rising and falling, but the temperature is not static. In general, the hatching period of chicken seedlings is about 21 days, 1-6 days, and the hatching temperature is 38.5 degrees, 38 degrees in 7-14 days, 37.8 degrees in 15-18 days, and 37.4 degrees in the last few days.

3. Control humidity

By controlling the humidity, the embryo can be heated evenly at the initial stage of hatching, which is beneficial to the heat dissipation and shell-pecking of the embryo in the middle and later stage. Like temperature control, humidity is not static. Generally, the humidity is about 60%, 70%, 55%, 55%, and 70% in the first 1-7 days, 8-16 days, and 65%, 70% in the last week.

4. Ventilation and ventilation

Embryonic development must exchange gas with the outside world, especially in the later stage of hatching, when the embryo begins to breathe through the lungs, when the demand for oxygen is great, and the output of carbon dioxide will increase. At this time, if the ventilation is poor, the high concentration of carbon dioxide will cause embryonic asphyxia, so it should be timely ventilation to keep the air fresh.

The above are the four main points of chicken seedling incubation. I hope I can help you. If you want to know more about it, please follow us.
