Many flower lovers do not know how to raise Guanyin orchids, in fact, the method is very simple, nothing more than potted soil, watering, light, temperature and fertilization, it is easy to blossom, and the flowers are very fragrant, so they are loved by the public. The reproduction method of Guanyin orchid is generally sowing and ramet propagation, and it is very easy to survive.

1. Conservation skills of Guanyin orchids 1. Selection of potted soil

The flowerpots needed by Guanyin had better be loose and breathable, which is good for drainage. Mud pots, pottery pots and purple sand pots are commonly used, as well as orchid special soil, which is generally made of several mediums, such as small stones, bark plus humus soil and peat soil.

2. Appropriate watering

The water storage capacity of Guanyin orchids is very strong, and it is relatively resistant to drought and waterlogging. In spring and autumn, water is usually watered 2 to 3 times a week; in summer, water can be watered once a day to protect the substrate from moist but not stagnant water; and less water is watered once a week in winter. Water less when the temperature is low or on cloudy and rainy days.

3. Suitable lighting

Guanyin likes yin and is sensitive to light, so it can not accept direct light at ordinary times and needs proper shading. Generally speaking, Guanyin can receive mild sunlight in the morning and evening. The sun at noon or in summer is so strong that it is easy to burn the leaves. It is best to put it in a place where the sun is scattered.

4. Control the temperature

The most suitable temperature for Guanyin growth is between 18 and 30 ℃. When the summer temperature is higher than 30 ℃, it is necessary to give Guanyin proper shade and put it in a cool and ventilated place to spend the summer. When the winter temperature is lower than 5 ℃, Quan Yin will grow very slowly. You must keep it indoors to avoid frostbite and death.

5. Rational fertilization

Orchids prefer fertilizer. During the growth period, nitrogen fertilizer can be applied every half a month, while phosphorus and potassium fertilizer can be applied before flowering to promote flowering. Follow the principle of applying thin fertilizer frequently. If you apply too much fertilizer, it may lead to root burning and rotting. If you know how to raise Guanyin orchids, you can also breed properly.

2. Propagation methods of Guanyin orchids 1. Sowing and propagation

When sowing, the seeds need to be stimulated with blue bacteria, soak the seeds in a culture flask with a culture medium, and then put them at a temperature of 25 ℃. After the seeds germinate, they can form protocorms in light, and then they can be transplanted and grow.

2. Ramet propagation

Select a suitable parent plant of Guanyin, then separate part of the root system to remove, carefully cut off the rotten roots and leaves, clean the root system with water, put it in a cool place to dry, and then put it on the pot. Because the ramet has roots, the plantlets separated in a week or so can grow normally.

Control of common diseases and insect pests 1. Scale insects

The most common pests of Guanyin orchids are scale insects, which are most vulnerable to scale insects in the case of poor light transmission and ventilation and excessive watering. When diseases and insects are found, they need to be killed in time. Appropriate amount of omethoate solution can be sprayed for killing and control.

2. White silk disease

Guanyin is easy to suffer from white silk disease during the rainy season. After the disease, the basin soil that has been infected with germs should be replaced in time, and then sprinkled with lime powder for disinfection. At ordinary times, it is necessary to increase light transmission and ventilation to maintain good spray drainage to prevent diseases.
