Kiwifruit is common in China and is a fruit with great market demand. There are distributions all over China. When we plant kiwifruit, we should adjust the management methods according to the changes of seasons. Especially in the summer high temperature, the management will directly affect the yield and quality of kiwifruit. How to manage summer? Today, Xiaobian brings you the management technology of summer kiwi fruit. Let's take a look together!

1. Summer pruning

In summer, kiwi pruning is very important. Summer is generally the budding period of kiwifruit. When kiwifruit is just budding, it is necessary to do a good job of wiping buds. Remove some over-dense buds and no flower buds that grow in inappropriate positions, and then pollinate, and then pick the heart after pollination. The main object of picking is to grow about 20 leaves, and remove the top tips of 3-4 leaves. If the number of leaves is more than 35, then about 5 tops should be removed. After topping, if there are new branches, then remove them in time or pick them again.

2. Fruit management

In summer, we should pay attention to thinning fruit, avoid hanging fruit more than the tree load. When thinning fruit, leave single fruit in the same inflorescence and thinning out the top fruit and tail fruit on the same branch. The number of fruits left on long branches should be kept at about 4, 3 on medium branches, and 1 on short branches. In order to improve the quality of the fruit, it is best to be able to bag when planting. Half a month after pollination, foliar fertilizer was sprayed, mainly urea and supplemented by trace element fertilizer. After that, spray once every two weeks for about 5 times continuously. After the young fruit stops growing for the first time, apply a fruit-strengthening fertilizer, mainly nitrogen and potassium fertilizer.

3. Branch management

The management of branches and leaves is also the key point of kiwifruit management in summer. Some varieties of kiwifruit, its leaves are relatively thin and large, so its resistance is not strong, easy to be broken by the wind. Therefore, when we are in strong wind weather, we must do a good job of tying branches and attracting vines. Pay special attention to branches that are easily blown off by the wind. Most of these branches are the fruiting mother branches of the following year. If you encounter dry hot wind, you can spray water on the leaves to avoid scalding the leaves. When establishing orchards, leeward areas should be given priority to, and shelterbelts can be built if conditions permit, so as to improve the microclimate of orchards and ensure the normal growth of kiwifruit.

The above is a brief introduction to summer kiwi management techniques. In addition to the above, there are also the most basic water and fertilizer management and intertillage weeding, which cannot be ignored in our management. Therefore, we must pay more attention to avoid affecting the growth of kiwi fruit. Today's introduction is here, this article is for reference only, I hope to be able to help you oh!
