Because this kind of soil is easy to carry germs or eggs, if it is not killed in time, flowers and plants will be affected.

So how to disinfect and disinfect the soil? Here are six ways to do it.

1. Expose yourself to the sun

When the soil is dug up, choose a sunny day, spread a film or bag in a place with good light, and then dig up the soil, lay it flat on the film, and expose it to the sun for 3-7 days.

Remember to turn the soil so that the soil receives light evenly. If you have a flower friend in the courtyard at home, you can spread the soil directly on the cement board that is exposed to light intensity. After the moisturizing of the hot sun, the germs and eggs in the soil will be killed by the sun.

Exposure to the sun is a very practical way, and florists are generally recommended to use it.

2. Scald the soil with hot water

That is, put the dug-up soil into a flowerpot or a foam box. If it is a flowerpot, plug the drain hole. Then pour the boiled water directly onto the soil, watering it once, and stirring the soil with wooden sticks.

Wait 10 minutes before taking pictures of the water. Then pour it with boiling hot water again, seal it with plastic sheeting, put the flowerpot in a place with strong light, filter out the water after a day, and the soil can be used to grow flowers when the soil is dried.

3. Disinfect with special medicament

First find a bucket, a little bigger, put the dug-up soil into the bucket, then spray carbendazim into the bucket, after spraying, seal the mouth of the bucket tightly with plastic wrap, and then remove the plastic film after a week.

After removing the film, leave the soil open for 3-5 days for ventilation, and then the soil can be directly used for planting flowers in the village.

4. Fry the soil in a hot pot

Generally, you can build a temporary stove with bricks outside, then find a waste iron pot or iron basin, and put the dug-up soil into the iron pot and put it on the temporary stove. Then make a fire and heat the iron pot.

The soil in the pot should be stir-fried back and forth, stir-fry for half an hour, so that the soil is heated evenly, and then half an hour later, the soil can be used to grow flowers.

5. Disinfect with microwave oven

Is to put the dug-up soil into a heat-resistant bag, and then put the bag containing the soil into the microwave oven, which is set to high fire for 3 minutes. After 3 minutes, take out the soil, roll the soil, and raise the fire for 2 minutes.
