Black peanut is also a kind of peanut, also known as selenium-rich peanut, high nutritional value, black color, extremely popular in production in recent years, but this kind of peanut is relatively rare in daily life, because peanuts in most areas are red. So what should we pay attention to when growing black peanuts? Let's get to know it with the editor.

1. Soil

Black peanut is not very strict on the soil, so it is suitable to grow in all kinds of soil with pH value of 5.5-7.2. it is best to plant it in the soil with deep soil layer, active plough layer, good soil property and good drainage, which is beneficial to its growth and development, improve yield and quality, and obtain better income.

2. Soil preparation and fertilization

Plots where black peanuts are planted should be ploughed 25-30 cm deep. At the same time, the collection of winter ploughing applies 2500-3000 kg of rotten farm manure per mu, and after the beginning of spring the following year, shallow ploughing of 10-15 cm should be done with ploughing and raking to preserve soil moisture. When the ground temperature at 5 cm of the soil layer is stable above 15 degrees, sowing can be carried out. In order to reduce the harm of diseases and insect pests, seed dressing can be carried out before sowing. 50% phoxim 100 grams mixed with 50 kg seeds can prevent insect pests; 40%-50% carbendazim 150kg 250 grams can prevent stem rot.

3. Ridging and planting

Ridging planting can deepen the living soil layer, make the three sides exposed to light, effectively increase the ground temperature, which is beneficial to the growth and development of fruit needles and pods. When planting in a single row, 50-100 kg peanut special fertilizer per mu is applied. To achieve ridging and makeup at any time, 8000-11000 plants per mu should be planted according to the actual situation of the soil, preferably by the method of plastic film mulching. The ridge height is 10-12 cm, too low is not conducive to drainage, when covering the film, the lower edge of the ridge slope should be tightly covered and compacted, so that the plastic film will not be easily blown off by the wind.

4. Pest control

Herbicides should be sprayed on black peanuts 1-2 days after sowing, aphids, cotton bollworms and red spiders should be controlled in time at seedling stage, and preventive measures should be taken to prevent pests. 1-2 feet of carbendazim, mancozeb and other fungicides should be sprayed every month.
