Mayor Huang Weizhe specially instructed the Tainan Municipal Bureau of Agriculture to advance the layout and set up a pineapple production and marketing response team to actively expand the diversified sales market of Tainan pineapple. Tainan Municipal Bureau of Agriculture actively cooperated with the central government in implementing pineapple acquisition and processing measures, and announced the launch of the 109th pineapple acquisition and processing plan in Tainan on February 15, with a target of 2000 metric tons in the first stage.
Xie Yaoqing, director of agriculture of Tainan City, pointed out that the Agricultural Bureau invited relevant agricultural product processors and supply units from Guanmiao, Shanshang, Guiren, Longqi and Xinhua to jointly discuss the implementation of the Tainan pineapple acquisition and processing plan. and set up a platform to mediate with the legal agricultural products processing plants and supply units within the jurisdiction of Tainan City, and use excellent processing equipment to enhance the added value of Tainan pineapples. Tainan City is about to enter the pineapple production period, and the Tainan Municipal Bureau of Agriculture has launched pineapple production and marketing measures and prepared specific plans, and will continue to pay close attention to the pineapple production and marketing situation in Tainan with farmers' associations and cooperatives, and make every effort to maintain the stability of Tainan pineapple production and marketing.
