If you want the orchid to blossom easily, choose humus soil and bury an appropriate amount of diluted liquid fertilizer in the soil; watering the orchid should not apply thick fertilizer to the orchid; properly prune the buds to make the nutrients more concentrated; put the orchid in a bright place to promote the orchid bloom.

1. Soil selection

Planting orchids should choose humus soil and bury an appropriate amount of diluted liquid fertilizer in the soil, which can make orchids have sufficient nutrients during flowering; avoid using clay or alkaline soil, because this kind of soil is impervious, it will cause the roots of orchids not to absorb oxygen and rot, which is not conducive to orchid flowering.

2. Watering time orchids are plants that can be planted all the year round. Orchids are drought-resistant, seven-thirds dry and three-thirds wet, watering every three days in spring, watering every morning and evening in summer, depending on soil dryness and humidity in autumn, and watering as little as possible in winter. When watering, pay attention to watering along the edge, not from the top of the orchid.

3. Fertilization interval

When the plant is in the growing period, orchids should not be fertilized, and orchids should not be fertilized in the first year, so as to ensure the health and vitality of the new roots. After about two years of planting, usually from April to the Beginning of Autumn, fertilizer is applied every 40 days, and less fertilizer should be applied in summer.

4. after pruning buds and having buds, select the buds with the best development and the most ornamental value, and all the remaining buds will be removed. The orchid keeps the orchid moist during the budding period and should be sprayed around the orchid in hot and dry summer to increase the humidity in the air. Cut off all the remaining buds about 15 days after the orchid blossoms, which helps to retain the precious nutrients of the orchid and speed up flowering in the second year.

5. Place of placement

Pay attention to the place where the orchid is placed, always open the window to breathe, avoid the sun as far as possible, if exposed by the sun, it will reduce the flowering rate of the plant; it can be placed in brighter places such as bedroom, living room, or office area for a long time, which is helpful to strengthen plant photosynthesis and promote orchid flowering.
