In order to improve the efficiency of prevention and control, the damage is reduced to a minimum to ensure the output.

The production and Development Office of Hsinchu City said that since longan and litchi are important sources of honey for bees, in order to avoid the death of bees when collecting honey, farmers are asked to stop applying pesticides after litchi and longan enter the flowering stage and use biological or physical control such as releasing flat-bellied wasps, removing egg blocks or removing adults, so as to avoid accidental injury to the colony.
