If flowers are fertilized excessively or unripe fermented organic manure is applied, the phenomenon of leaf yellow and leaf fall will often be caused by root cutting.

After the occurrence of fertilizer damage, the following measures should be taken:

1. Immediately move the plants from the sun to the shade, and give shade to those cultivated in the open field.

2. Spray water on the plant first to keep the branches and leaves from wilting.

3. Then pour a lot of water into the basin in order to wash the fertilizer liquid out of the basin. When pouring water, the open field planting should open a drainage ditch around so that the fertilizer liquid can be discharged, and the soil can be washed 2-3 times a day.

If the fertilizer damage is serious, the following measures need to be taken to wash the roots and change the soil:

1. Gently pull the plant out of the pot (or the ground) and soak the root in clean water for 2-3 hours to thoroughly wash the fat from the root.

2. Cut off most of the leaves and most of the branches, more pruning plants and less pruning plants, so as to reduce the burden of plant nutrition supply.

3. If there are rotten roots, cut off the rotten roots and wash them with potassium permanganate or carbendazim or topiramate dilution to disinfect and sterilize.

4. Plant the plant with sterilized plain sandy soil, cover it with a plastic bag to reduce water evaporation, then maintain it in a shade place, and open the plastic bag for 1-2 hours a day to ventilate and prevent mildew.

5. When new vitality appears on the branches, and when the buds grow well, the plastic bags can be removed and transferred to normal management.
