When orchids bloom, transparent liquid like crystal beads will be secreted from the leaves, which is the flowering characteristic of orchids. We love the orchid people call it orchid cream or life dew.

Orchid ointment is a liquid secreted naturally by the growth of orchids, which tastes sweet and is a means of survival for orchids to reproduce themselves. Ants and other sweet insects will smell it, because the orchid flowers are small and light, so they are not easily detected by insects, and the sweet-smelling life dew will attract insects to increase the probability of pollination. And the disappearance of life dew means that the flowers should wither. In particular, the flowering of Cymbidium is the most easily secreted, which is the heredity of orchids in their native place.

How to raise orchids

Orchids are not raised well, and most of the problems lie in the fact that the air permeability and poor water permeability of the medium lead to rotten roots, so the medium determines the growth of orchids. The best medium for beginners is a mixture of granular media and sieve orchid paste, which must be sterilized and antiseptic before use.

Good soil with a good basin, the mud basin is the first choice for beginners to raise orchids, and the orchid root also needs to breathe. The good permeability of the mud basin is exactly what orchids need. You should know that ventilation determines the growth of orchid root, and orchid root determines the growth of orchid.

The size of the flowerpot is proportional to the size of the plant. Small seedlings and large pot plants will make poor air permeability and easy to accumulate water and rot roots; on the contrary, the root growth of large seedlings and small pots is limited, and the growth is also poor.

Finally: the orchid should not be deep and heavy, and it is easy to cause soft rot when planted in a humid environment for a long time, so the false phosphorus stem must be exposed and can not be buried in the plant material, and the root system must spread around rather than squeeze and bend arbitrarily to ensure that each root is in random contact with the plant material.

Orchid cultivation is not a matter of two words! It is better to do the most basic homework before doing more practice. Raise orchids well with practice and experience rather than other people's words. You know, my environment and planting materials are different from yours, so what I say is not suitable for you. You can only learn from the experience of others, which you must bear in mind.
