It is a good season to plant lentils at the beginning of spring, although lentils will be planted a little later in spring, but in fact, early spring lentils will be planted in many places. So how to grow lentils in early spring? If you don't understand, let's study together.

1. Choose the time

Planting at the beginning of spring depends on the time, because you have to choose a good day, when the temperature is not suitable for the growth of lentil seedlings, so choose continuous days suitable for planting. In general, cloudy weather is better, which is sunny, but not too sunny, so that the seedlings will not be affected by temperature after breeding or planting. This must not just see that the weather is fine that day, after all, the follow-up is the key to affect growth.

2. Raising seedlings

Then is the seedling, the key to raising seedlings in early spring lies in temperature control, this stage seedlings as far as possible not to raise seedlings in the field, otherwise there are more things that need to be done. Lentil seedlings can basically sprout when they are more than 20 degrees, so we should pay attention to the temperature above this when raising seedlings. Don't be too stuffy when raising seedlings. Lentil seedlings are difficult to sprout if there is not enough air. This generally has special seedling equipment, everyone can prepare one according to their own needs.

3. Land preparation

Then is the soil preparation, the root system of lentil seedlings is not deep, so the main soil preparation will be to dig the surface soil a little bit, not too deep. The land will be leveled into strips, with some ditches reserved in the middle, which will be convenient for lentil seedlings to be used as supporting poles, and the width of each piece will be controlled at about 80-100 cm. Drains are interspersed inside, so drainage will be relatively convenient, because in the later stage, when lentil seedlings grow up, it is not convenient to dig gutters.

4. Colonization

When the seedling is completed, it can be planted after 10-15 centimeters, and the success rate of this size of the seedling is much higher after transplantation. When planting, do not damage the root system, at this time the lentil seedlings are relatively fragile, the integrity of the root system has a great impact on the normal survival of lentil seedlings. When planting, the soil does not need to be buried too much, as long as it can cover the large root system, do not press the soil, it depends on the temperature to determine whether to cover the plastic film.

The above is the planting technology of lentils at the beginning of spring, in fact, this stage is mainly a matter of temperature, otherwise planting is actually relatively simple, not so difficult.
