Culture methods and matters needing attention of Lulianhua
Lu lotus, also known as flower buttercup, is a perennial plant, its color rich and colorful, flowers like peony flowers, but small flowers, leaves and celery leaves are somewhat similar, so it is also named celery flower. It is often used as cut flowers, potted plants, so how to cultivate land lotus? Let's learn about it together with Xiaobian.
1. Soil environment
Lu lotus likes sunny environment and cool climate, does not tolerate low temperature, slight freezing damage occurs in 0 degree environment, grows poorly in high temperature and high humidity environment, does not tolerate waterlogging and does not tolerate water, and grows well in well drained, fertile and loose sandy loam. If it is potted culture, it can be mixed with pastoral soil, pearlite, rotten leaf soil, etc., keep the soil moist during the cultivation time, and do not wait until the soil is too dry to water again, otherwise it will affect flowering and reduce the ornamental value.
2. Light temperature
Lotus is not resistant to strong light, like semi-shade environment, winter can be directly placed in the sun maintenance, and with the increase of temperature and light in spring, should be moderate shade ventilation to ensure its normal growth. The best growth temperature is 17 degrees during the day and 7 degrees at night. It should not be too high or too low. The temperature difference between day and night should not be too large, otherwise it will affect its growth and development, resulting in a decline in the number and quality of flowering.
3. Fertilizer and water management
Although it is drought-tolerant, it is not suitable for excessive drought, especially in the late stage of growth. If it is too dry, it will enter a forced dormancy state, resulting in poor bulb quality. In addition, after planting, water should be watered, pay attention to maintaining balance, not too dry or fruit, the soil surface should be kept dry, but it is not suitable for yellow leaves and dead leaves. Before planting, appropriate amount of fertilizer should be applied as base fertilizer, and topdressing should be applied according to demand during growing period, especially flowering needs a lot of nutrients, so fertilizer should be applied during flowering period.
4. Precautions
In the process of cultivation, if the fertilizer and water supply is insufficient, or the temperature is too high, or the goose dormancy is too early, it will cause the small roots of the goose to become uneven, withered and smaller. After dormancy in summer, ground plants wither after 6 months, protecting roots from overwintering in northern areas.
