Free-range chickens are now very popular, many people plan to do this, but breeding this is not as simple as everyone thinks. This is not indoor, many reasons we can not control very well, but the impact on chickens is great, the following to understand these problems.

1. Disease

Free-range chickens face a greater threat of disease. Because they are free-range chickens, they are basically outdoors, and outdoors we don't know what existed in these places before, whether there are disease residues and other problems. In addition, there are many outdoor insects, many insects carry toxic bacteria, chickens may be infected after eating by mistake, thus causing disease. Chickens in the wild will eat a little of everything, so this kind of problem will be more frequent.

2, temperature variability

Outdoor temperatures cannot be kept at a relatively constant level by manual control, as in chicken houses. Chickens are more sensitive to fluctuations in temperature. When the temperature is low, they are unwilling to move around. Often free-range chickens are frozen to death because of this. As soon as the temperature is high, chickens are prone to heatstroke, but because they are free-range, their activity sites are large, and chicken heatstroke is also difficult to find, so there is no good way for farmers to die, which is a problem brought about by temperature.

3. Wildlife invasion

Although this problem was relatively rare now, it still existed in many places. After all, there were weasels and the like in chicken coops to attack chickens. It was even easier to raise them freely. Without the protection of the chicken coop, many other larger wild animals may also steal chickens, and these wild animals are also very flexible, originally difficult to prevent, now the free breeding can attack a wider range of places, this is a problem brought about by wild animals.

4. Rain

Chickens can get wet, but occasionally they can get wet. If the time is a little longer, the chicken may freeze to death. When the chicken itself is dry, the heat preservation effect can also be done, but when it gets wet, it is easy to have problems. Although free-range chickens will do some rainproof sheds, but not all chickens will run directly inside, when it rains, there will often be free-range chickens so problems, need farmers to treat. It's a rain problem.

The above are some of the problems that are easy to encounter when breeding chickens. Free chickens pay attention to the original ecology, so when breeding, try to prevent and control the above problems without destroying their natural growth environment.
