When raising ducklings, we will always encounter some problems, some of which will endanger the safety of ducklings, and some will affect their future growth. So what problems are more common, let's learn about a few easily overlooked problems!

1. Irrational lighting time

Ducklings are sensitive to light, and many times they rely on light to rest. When the light is slowly dimmed, the ducklings will begin to rest. And many brooding room light is relatively dim, which led to the duck dormancy time is too long, less activity time, which is not conducive to the health of ducklings. Just a few days before hatching, it is best to make the light time longer, so that the ducklings have to adapt to the environment as soon as possible, and then slowly shorten the light time, until they are the same as normal ducks. Duckling period too dim or less than 10 hours of light is basically unreasonable.

2. Early launching

Ducks need to have a long protective layer before entering the water, otherwise they are easy to be frostbitten and drown. Many ducklings drown for this reason. Ducklings are slow to grow this, and this is not perfect when they just grow out. If they are rushed into the water, then there will be problems. The benefits of launching early are not obvious, but the dangers of launching early are obvious. We think it is best to find some shallow pools to try to see the overall performance of ducklings before deciding.

3, the density is too high

Ducklings are very prone to duck plague, which I believe many people are clear, and the density of ducklings will be too frequent a variety of diseases. When you find that your ducklings have a significantly higher incidence, you should pay more attention to it. This is most likely a problem caused by density. Secondly, when the density is large, some weaker ducklings will obviously suffer, the longer the worse, and finally until death, if there are more excluded ducks, then it is basically a problem of density.

4, feed pellets do not pass

The demand for feed for ducklings is not very high, but feed pellets are also exquisite, many farmers have been sprayed to choke to death, this is the problem caused by particles, here particles are larger, stuck in the duck throat position, finally leading to duck death. Still some are feed particles too small, and then ducklings eat less, seriously affecting the breeding efficiency. If your ducklings are not growing well, try adjusting the grain size of your feed.

The above are some of the problems that ducklings often encounter when they are raised. The ducklings themselves need to be carefully raised. All aspects of the problem should not be ignored. Otherwise, the impact on the breeding effect is quite serious.
