Family conservation of orchids is limited by many conditions, it is difficult to maintain the original ecological environment of orchids, thus affecting the normal growth. Next, the editor introduces the three "bathing methods" of orchids to create a microclimate suitable for the growth of orchids.

Orchid bath

Bathing refers to bathing orchids. In fact, the invisible leaves are covered with dust, which comes from the ups and downs in the air, residues after spraying, and so on. These dusts not only affect the ornamental value of orchids, but also put on normal leaf respiration, affecting photosynthesis, if the pollution is serious, it may also induce a variety of diseases.

In fact, the bathing method of orchids is very simple, with only a basin of water, a brush or a soft brush. Cut off the tip of the brush and dip it in a small amount of water. Gently scrub the brush upward from the base of the leaf with one hand and hold the other against the back of the orchid leaf at the same time. Wash twice, then wash the brush and clean the back of the blade in the same way.

Orchids bathe once a month. Be careful not to use your hands too hard when scrubbing, so as not to pull out the orchid leaves.

Orchid wind bath

If orchids grow well, orchid ventilation is very important. Wind can bring fresh air, can meet the growth needs of empty valley beauty; points can take away heat, especially in summer, can make orchids spend summer smoothly; wind can also effectively reduce the occurrence of diseases and insect pests.

For example, your family lives on the third floor, and the sun is strong during the day, so you can't put the orchids outside because you can't hide the light. Put the orchid on the indoor balcony or ventilated window during the day and move outside at night to accept the dew and wind.

Orchid sunbathing

The growth of all things depends on the sun, a certain amount of sunbathing can promote the growth of orchids.

In summer, give the orchid 1-2 hours of light, then shade; in autumn, when the highest temperature is below 15 ℃, you can leave the curtain uncovered, so that it can receive direct sunlight in the sun all day; in spring, as the temperature rises, it gradually increases the amount of light. In addition, you can also use fluorescent lamps for artificial sunbathing.
