The prolonged epidemic of pneumonia in Wuhan has also had an impact on Taiwan's agriculture, including obstacles in the sale of agricultural products (mainly pineapple, Sakya, pineapple, grouper, fish, etc.), the need to digest food materials for campus group meals due to the delay in the start of school, the tightening of consumption of leisure agriculture due to the reduction of people going out for epidemic prevention, the reduction of farmers' income and the increase of living pressure, and the shortage of fishery manpower caused by the inability of Chinese crew to come to Taiwan.

In response to various problems, Chen Jizhong, chairman of the Council of Agriculture, said that a funding of 12 to 1.5 billion yuan would be set aside to put forward strategies to solve the problem. it includes counseling measures such as increasing overseas marketing subsidies, opening up new markets, media channels and national army meals to digest campus group meals, opening up e-commerce channels and housing allocation, providing relief loans for farmers, and coordinating with the Ministry of Labor to shorten the production and marketing of fishing and animal husbandry in order to reduce the impact on the industry.
