1. Culture density

The first point is naturally density, quail small and delicate does not take up space, but this does not mean that farmers can increase the density, because high density will seriously affect the income of breeding, from fattening to laying eggs. When the density is too high, the activity of the whole population of quails will decrease in varying degrees, followed by a decline in fattening effect, more and more quails become thin, because quails do not have enough venues, they will be less and less willing to move around. Finally, there is the stage of frequent breeding accidents.

2. Feed change

Quails are small in size, so they are very particular about feed. The feed of young quails generally choose things such as feed paste, which is good for digestion and should be a little thinner. It is too sticky to cause problems in the digestion of young quails. After a week, you can slowly feed some broken particles, the size of which is about half the size of rice grains. After two weeks, it is basically normal feeding, and some fresh forage and other things need to be added to the feed. The feed must be adjusted appropriately according to the size of the quail.

3. The change of light duration.

Light also has a great effect on quails, especially during the laying period, so this is also an important thing to pay attention to. Young quails are sensitive to light, but they need more rest, so the daily time is controlled at about 10 hours, which can increase slowly after three days, and the normal period is controlled at about 14 hours. the peak laying period is controlled at about 16 hours, and a longer light time during the laying period is beneficial to increase the number of eggs.

4. Growth environment

A good growing environment is one of the bases for quail production maintenance. The quail cage should be a little dry, prepare a softer cushion, there should be no sharp material around the cage, the gap in the cage should not pass through the head, and the tuyere should not be aimed at the cage. These are the basic places to jump frames. Then it is necessary to clean up in time, especially the residue of faeces, and if possible, you can prepare a filter at the bottom, which will save cleaning time.
