When breeding sand crawlers, we should pay attention to more problems, so that the effect of breeding is good. Many novice farmers may not know much about sand worms, and these breeding points are easy to overlook, so let's take a look at what they are!

1. Temperature

First of all, the temperature is naturally, when raising sand reptiles, the water temperature has a great impact on it. It can be said that the water temperature demand of larvae is not at the same level as that of adults. Sand crawlers are relatively resistant to low temperature, and the water temperature of culture ponds is not different from that of transporting seedlings as far as possible. Large fluctuations in temperature can lead to the death of sand reptiles. If the water temperature during transportation is about 4 ℃, then the temperature of the pool is about 2-6 ℃.

2. Density

Sand crawlers have no so-called similar consciousness, and for those smaller than them, they are easy to be eaten by sand crawlers. Therefore, extra attention should be paid to the culture density, especially when replanting, if the density is high, it is easy to mutilate each other. The sand crawler itself has the situation that big insects eat small insects. When breeding, it is divided into groups according to size, and then the density is calculated. This degree of safety is relatively guaranteed, and the density must be well controlled.

3. Water quality

Water quality is the living environment of sand reptiles, so this is also a place that needs to be paid more attention to. The quality of water quality directly affects the growth process of sand reptiles. The water depth is generally about half a meter, and the water quality needs to be fresh. Sand crawlers themselves are also active in the water. If the water quality is poor, they will choose to escape from the water surface, and then their diet will become smaller. Second, fresh water has more oxygen, and sand worms are more active and grow better in such an environment.

4. Hygiene

Sand crawlers still care about hygiene, whether in water or on land. One is that the excretion of sand worms pollutes the water source, and the other is that the residue of things pollutes the terrestrial environment, especially the food residue, which is quite obvious. If it is not cleaned up in time, it will rot and lead to the destruction of the ecological balance and the growth of all kinds of bacteria. If it takes a long time, it is also easy to cause sand reptiles to infect various diseases, so this is also a key point.

These are some of the main points of sand creeping insect breeding, we can consider these factors more, although it is relatively easy to feed sand climbing insects, but if we do not pay attention to these problems, it is easy to cause problems.
