1. Soil requirements

It is best to use slightly acidic soil that is loose and breathable, well drained and rich in humus. Perlite, vermiculite and peat soil are recommended to be mixed at 2:2:1. If not, humus soil, garden soil and fine sand can also be mixed at 3:2:1.

2. Lighting requirements

3. Temperature requirement

Violet is not resistant to high temperature or cold, and can only grow at a suitable temperature in order to control the temperature. It is necessary to maintain the temperature of 18 ℃ at ordinary times, and the temperature should be controlled at about 20 ℃ during flower bud differentiation, and there should be a certain temperature difference between day and night, which will be beneficial to the differentiation of flower buds.

5. Fertilization requirements

Violet should be fertilized once a week during the growing period, the amount should not be too much, and the thick fertilizer should not be used to avoid thickening and burning roots, pay attention to the frequent application of thin fertilizer, and fertilize with rotten organic fertilizer or compound fertilizer. Near the flowering stage, applying some phosphorus and potassium fertilizer is beneficial to flowering.
