The leaves are different: the leaves of one-leaf orchid are longer and larger, about 22-46 cm in length, and the petiole is stout and obvious; the orchid banana is smaller, about 22-30 cm in length, and the petiole is thinner. The flowers are different: the flowers of the former are more characteristic, like a lotus platform, and the bracts formed above are broadly ovate; the latter are larger, the bracts are oblong and the color of the flowers is lighter.

First, the leaves are different

The shape of the leaf is rectangular-circular lanceolate, lanceolate to nearly oval, the whole leaf is relatively long and large, about 22-46 cm in length and 8-11 cm in width. Petiole relatively stout, looking obvious, about 5-35 cm long. Although the color of the leaves is green on both sides, sometimes there are yellow and white spots or stripes, which is more obvious.

The orchid banana is smaller, and the leaves are oval-lanceolate, about 22-30 cm long and 7-9 cm wide. Petiole is thinner, about 14-18 cm long. Its leaves are green and there are no other colors.

Second, flowers are different

One-leaf orchid flowers are more characteristic, like a lotus tower, but also more like spider eggs, the upper bracts are about 3-4, the shape is wide oval, the color is purple, the outside color is dark purple, the lower part of the color is dark purple. The difference between the two flowers is relatively big, and it can be easily distinguished.

The flower of orchid banana is relatively large, with several bracts above, the shape of the bract is oblong, the length is about 3.5-7 cm, the color of the flower is lighter.
