Primrose is one of the famous flowers with a long history of cultivation in China. Afraid of high temperature in summer, the whole plant is easy to die after being heated. Therefore, summer must be placed in a cool and ventilated environment with shade.

Winter flowers primroses are placed indoors in the sun, other seasons need sugarcane to direct light, especially in the seedling and flowering stage to avoid strong sun and high temperature. (1) cultivation: keep the seedlings in a cool place in summer, let them see more sunlight gradually after September, and apply compound flower fertilizer 1-2 times. The north moved indoors in mid-and late October, put it in a sunny place, and began to blossom one after another from December.

The florescence can be prolonged at 4-5 ℃ at room temperature. During the growth period, keep moist and apply thin fertilizer every 10 days or so. (2) sowing: generally more than sowing in May-June, sowing in the sandy soil basin, sifting the soil before sowing, fully watering the soil, and then sowing the seeds mixed with fine sandy soil until the water is completely permeated. Because the seeds are very small, the covering soil must be thin, so the seeds can not be seen. Cover the basin with glass to keep warm and moisturize, and it can germinate in about 1 week at 15 ℃.

When the emergence rate of primroses is more than 60%, remove the glass and put it in a semi-shaded place to prevent the seedlings from overgrowing. After the seedlings come out, pay attention to ventilation. When the seedlings are transplanted into a shallow basin with 2 true leaves, and when 5-6 true leaves are planted, they can be planted.
