Jiulong worm, also known as foreign worm, is a kind of insect with high nutritional value. at present, with the development of its utilization value, the market demand is very high. In fact, the technical content of breeding Kowloon worms is not high, more attention to their own reproduction, farmers mainly do a good job of environmental control on the line, then how to raise Kowloon worms?

1. Site construction

When breeding, there is no need to prepare a large space for breeding, because the utensils of Kowloon worms are generally small and can be superimposed on each other, which is not only convenient for management and control, but also saves site construction costs. Aquaculture utensils are generally boxes of plastic products, the size is about the size of the washbasin, and the height is generally more than 20 centimeters. The air vent should be reserved at the bottom, and the top can be sealed with a screen in summer and covered with a lid in winter, so that the temperature can be easily controlled.

2. Control temperature and humidity

Kowloon worm is sensitive to humidity and temperature. It is most active when the temperature is between 25 and 30 ℃. The probability of death will increase when the temperature is more than 30 ℃. For 15 ℃, its vitality will decrease until it enters a dormant state. If the temperature is well controlled, it will be more active and reproduce all the year round. When the humidity of the eggs or larvae is more than 70%, it is suitable for the growth of the larvae, and the adult is controlled at about 50%. When the humidity is too high, we should pay attention to the mites.

3. Feeding and management

The daily food of the Kowloon worm is easy to get, but its quality is also closely related to what it is fed. Kowloon worms like sweets, daily to dried dates, carrots, walnuts, peanuts and so on, the general breeding varieties are fed these. Those who want high quality are generally fed with herbs such as Ganoderma lucidum tablets to raise them, so the quality of the Kowloon worms fed is naturally quite high. Kowloon worms do not have a fixed feeding time, farmers just need to put the food inside, they will eat slowly, wait until almost finished and replenish it in time.

4. Sanitary diseases

Kowloon worms themselves excrete feces, but their eggs are generally stored in the middle of these faeces, so their faeces are not cleaned frequently and take a long time to clean up. The time of cleaning is generally chosen in the period of relatively less spawning, so the loss is less. Mites are one of the biggest threats to Kowloon insects and the most common disease, and this is very difficult to cure. The so-called feeding things should be kept clean and hygienic, and special attention should be paid to humidity.

The above is the breeding technology of Kowloon worms. The main purpose of raising this is to control the culture environment. It is easy to get started, but especially difficult to master. If the mating and reproduction of Kowloon worms is relatively slow, you can try to put a water-blocking test tube in it, which may improve the mating effect.
