There are three main ways to fertilize orchids with sheep dung. For the newly planted orchid seedlings, you can mix it into the substrate and let it play a role. For the cultivated plant, it can be buried shallowly in the flower soil to release nutrients. In addition, it can be dissolved and diluted, and then injected into the flower soil with the help of a syringe.

1. Sheep manure can be used as fertilizer

It is very appropriate to use sheep dung as fertilizer for orchids. Sheep dung has a nickname, called "Baicaodan", which means that it is more suitable to be used as fertilizer. There are many benefits of using sheep dung. In general, the fertilizer sold on the market, whether it is inorganic or commercial fertilizer, some are not convenient to use, and some are not nutritious.

Sheep dung is rich in organic matter and fiber. Not only are there many kinds of nutrients, but its C / N ratio is also the most suitable. Moreover, it can be counted as a slow-release fertilizer, the fertilizer effect lasts for a long time, and will not cause fertilizer damage. It plays an irreplaceable role in the growth and flowering of orchids.

2. Usage of sheep dung

(1) if it is a newly cultivated orchid, sheep dung can be mixed in the substrate. A handful of sheep dung is fine for each plant.

(2) if it is a cultivated orchid, you can dig up a piece of soil and bury a handful of sheep dung. But don't be too deep, just bury it shallowly.

(3) in addition, in addition to mixing it directly into the soil, it can also soak in water and eventually make liquid fertilizer. The effect is also good, which can promote the rapid growth of the plant. However, it should be diluted first, and then injected into the soil with the help of a syringe.
