Soak the healthy and mature seeds in 40 ℃ warm water for 1 to 2 days, then dry and soak in diluted salt solution for 20 minutes, prepare the mixed soil of rotten leaves and river sand prepared at 9:1 for sun exposure and sterilization, sow the seeds according to 1~2cm spacing and film mulch maintenance, water every day and receive light for 3 weeks to germinate.

1. Seed selection treatment

Orchids should prepare seeds before sowing, generally choose mature and healthy seeds, and then deal with them. The seeds were directly soaked in warm water with a temperature of about 40 ℃. After 1-2 days, it was found that the seed epidermis softened and began to break, then it was taken out to dry.

2. In disinfection and sterilization, it is also necessary to soak and sterilize the soaked seeds. It is best to prepare the diluted salt solution or sodium phosphate solution, soak it for about 20 minutes and rinse it with clean water to make it healthy and free of germs.

3. Prepare the basin soil

The sown soil should be loose and breathable. You can usually choose to mix 9 parts of humus and 1 part of fine river sand, and then put them into a breathable flowerpot. Attention should be paid to the disinfection of the sown potted soil, either in the strong light or in boiling water.

4. Sowing and sowing the treated Cymbidium seeds directly on the loose soil, there should be a certain gap of 1~2cm between each seed, then cover the seed with a thin layer of soil, water it to keep it moist, and then cover it with plastic film for maintenance.

5. Germination and maintenance

Put the flowerpot in a place with plenty of ventilation and scattered light to provide a good growth environment for the seeds, and the seeds will germinate after about 3 weeks of watering every day. At this time, the film can be removed, and then carefully maintained, and so on when the seedling height reaches 10cm or so, it can be transplanted.
