Magnolia is a domestic plant, but it is also a very difficult plant to raise. If you want to raise it vigorously, you should not only control its temperature, light and water, but also pay attention to the soil planted in flowerpots. Many flower friends do not know what kind of soil to use to grow magnolia. In fact, as long as it is loose sand, it is the best. Let's take a look at what homemade soil is left.

First, it is good to grow orchids with loose sand.

Cymbidium is a very popular family plant. When raising Cymbidium, the most important thing is to keep watering as much as possible, proper amount of watering and ventilation, so that it can be fed. However, if you want to raise a gentleman orchid with good appearance, you must first prepare the soil that is most suitable for the growth of gentleman orchid, of which loose sand is the most suitable.

Some people do not know what kind of soil to use to grow magnolia, in fact, their roots belong to fleshy roots, and the environment they need must be very permeable and breathable sandy soil, plus some fertile rotten leaf soil and peat soil. These are also very beneficial to the growth of Cymbidium, which likes acid, so the soil is slightly acidic, and the pH value of 6.2-6.7 is already good.

Second, the method of self-made soil distribution of Cymbidium.

1. Use oak leaves as the matrix, and bury pine needles and coarse sand in the proportion of 7:1:1, respectively. The last part of the soil is put together with charcoal, pockmarked seeds, perilla seeds and sunflower seeds. After mixing these substances and wetting them with water, they have been successfully configured.

2. This kind of self-made flower fertilizer is mixed with some coconut shell soil and furnace ash on the basis of the old soil; finally, some rotten chicken manure and pockmarked seeds are added to retting fertilizer when potted or cut. Not only is there enough fertilizer, but it will also make the orchid grow more steadily.

3. Choose humus soil, horse dung soil, cinder, river sand and bone powder to mix well, and finally pour the fried sesame seeds before pouring them into the flowerpot. The ratio is 5-5-2-1-1-1-1. Before the orchid is nurtured, it needs to be watered and moist, and then it can thrive.

Third, how to raise the gentleman orchid

There are a lot of things to pay attention to in orchid culture, except for the soil selection above. There are also methods such as controlling watering, controlling temperature and planting in astigmatism environment, which are all very important. Let's take a look!

1. Astigmatism illuminates

Cymbidium likes to shine in the sun, but too strong light will burn the plants. So when we breed magnolia in summer, we must put it indoors, where there is no direct light. There should be at least five hours of sunshine every day in spring and autumn, but all-day sunshine is good in winter.

2. Appropriate watering

Gentleman orchid must not be watered too much, if the soil water content is too large, there will be rotting roots. Every time you water it, you must call it thoroughly and wait for the soil to dry before watering. You need to water once a day in summer, once every 2-3 days in spring and autumn, and less every 5-7 days in winter.

3. The temperature is moderate

When raising magnolia, the temperature must be kept at 10: 30 ℃, especially in summer, the temperature must be controlled below 35 ℃, preferably in a cool and ventilated environment. The lowest temperature in winter must be kept above 10 ℃. When it is lower than 5 ℃, it will cause frostbite.

4. Apply light fertilizer frequently

Cymbidium grows thicker only when it applies thin fertilizer frequently, mostly in April in the spring growing season, and then topdressing in autumn, which is used to increase nutrients to help it survive the winter.
