The method of family culture of Magnolia
When the orchid is raised in the family, it is best to turn the basin and change the soil once in 2 ~ 3 years. Humus, pastoral soil and cinder can be used as the substrate, and the temperature should be controlled above 0 ℃ in winter. Cymbidium needs to be watered every 2 to 3 days, and dilute nitrogen fertilizer should be applied every half a month.
1. Turn the basin and change the soil
In the process of family breeding, the orchid needs to turn the basin and change the soil every 2-3 years. When changing the soil, try not to hurt the roots of the plant. You can choose a larger mud basin as the turning-basin container. Then use humus soil, pastoral soil, cinder according to the proportion of 2:2:1 to mix as the substrate.
2. Temperature control by illumination
When raising orchids at home, it is best to put them on the balcony for maintenance, which can give enough illumination to orchids to promote bright and beautiful flowers during flowering. If placed in a shady place for a long time, it is easy to make flowers fall off ahead of time, but you need to do a good job in shade and sunscreen in summer. In winter, you not only need sufficient sunshine, but also control the temperature above 0 ℃.
3. Water and fertilizer management
In general, it is very simple. During the growth of Cymbidium, it can be watered every 2-3 days, every 10 days during winter dormancy, and thin nitrogen fertilizer every half a month to make it thrive and bloom beautifully.
4. Ramet propagation can separate ramets with root whiskers from its roots when turning pots and changing soil for magnolia at home, then smear plant ash to disinfect it, put it in a cool place for 1-2 days, and then plant it in soil suitable for growth. Just keep it in astigmatism and ventilation for a week.
