The effects of heart-picking, leaf-picking, sprouting and root-cutting on flowers are as follows:

① coring: it can promote the plant to germinate lateral branches or thicken growth, or promote flower bud differentiation.

② leaf picking: when transplanting, it is appropriate to remove some leaves to reduce water evaporation, which is beneficial to survival. Cutting off the old leaves can promote the development of new leaves and make them more beautiful.

③ sprouting: adventitious buds consume nutrients and disturb plant shape, so they should be erased in time.

④ root cutting: when flowers and trees transplant and change pots, the damaged roots, senescent roots and dead roots should be cut off to promote the germination of more fibrous roots to facilitate growth and development.
